Wendy is passionate about assisting people to access their potential. She is a Counselling Psychologist in private practice and I has been practicing since 2004.
Her therapy approach is integrative; utilising techniques and skills from various modalities in order to best suit the clients’ needs. Through her years in practice she has adopted Ego State Theory as well as Gestalt techniques in working with her clients. I have worked extensively with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and I was trained in Psychodynamic therapy at University and in my internship.
As a therapist, Wendy works with adults and adolescents. She works with emotional and developmental difficulties, adjustment problems, stress management, trauma counselling and grief counselling.
“In my free time I love spending time with my husband and my daughter. We often watch her playing Netball or Hockey and even athletics. I enjoy exercising and most especially doing Kick classes or going for a jog. Reading has always been a hobby of mine. I regularly have 2 or 3 different books that I am reading at a time.”
